Luna Park in Coney Island Code of Conduct

Our mission is to provide a safe, clean and inviting amusement park experience in New York City for family entertainment. To ensure all of our guests enjoy their time at Luna Park in Coney Island, we require every visitors to comply with the following rules and policies.

Behavior:

Guests are asked to conduct themselves in a manner appropriate for a family-friendly amusement park. Unruly, disruptive
or offensive behavior, including failing to adhere to posted safety regulations, is strictly prohibited. Guests who appear intoxicated, under the influence of illegal substances or exhibit any other illicit
or belligerent behavior will be escorted from the park without refund and/or turned over to the proper authorities.

Dress Guidelines:

Proper attire is required for the duration of your visit to Luna Park in Coney Island. In order to maintain an environment suitable for guests of all ages, and in consideration of your personal health and safety, shirts and shoes must be worn on rides at all times. Clothing depicting rude, vulgar and otherwise offensive language or images is not permitted. Guest in violation of our dress code will be asked to leave and escorted from the park.

Language:

Luna Park in Coney Island adheres to a zero-tolerance policy regarding offensive language. Visitors using profanity or abusive language, including symbols or gestures, will be escorted from the premises and will not be eligible for a refund.

Lost Children:

We ask parents and guardians to remain with small children at all times. In the event you are separated from a person under your supervision, please contact the first available Luna Park in Coney Island employee for assistance. Luna Park in Coney Island also recommends designating a centrally located meeting place to gather if someone in your party gets lost.

Commercial Photography:

As a condition of entering the property, guests grant Luna Park in Coney Island permission to be photographed, filmed and video/audio recorded on premises without compensation for any reason. Commercial photography of every kind is prohibited within Luna Park in Coney Island without explicit written consent from management. It is also forbidden to bring ancillary photography/videography equipment into the park, including, but not limited to, lights, tripods and reflectors.

Disabled Guests:

Some amusement park rides may not be accessible for people with disabilities and those unable to enter, transfer and exit select attractions or in any case conditions are inappropriate and/or dangerous for use. Alcohol Consumption:

Alcoholic beverages purchased in Luna Park in Coney Island must be consumed on premises. No outside alcohol is permitted inside the park. All patrons are required to produce valid identification to purchase adult beverages, and no one under the age of 21 will be served. Please drink responsibly. Guests who appear intoxicated will be asked to leave and escorted from the park without refund.

Animals/Pets:

Legally documented service animals are permitted in Luna Park in Coney Island. All other animals and pets are strictly prohibited. We ask you do not leave animals on the sidewalks and surrounding areas of the park perimeter. In such cases the appropriate authorities will be notified.

Inclement Weather:

Luna Park in Coney Island reserves the right to temporarily shut down rides during electrical storms, heavy rain, high winds or otherwise dangerous weather conditions. Rides will reopen as soon as safe operations can be assured. There are no refunds for inclement weather.

Line Jumping:

To maintain a friendly and safe amusement park environment, line jumping will not be tolerated. Guests are not allowed to save places in line or exit lines and return for any reason. Violators will be escorted from the premises without refund.

Loose Articles:

Loose articles such as backpacks, cell phones, cameras, and purses are not allowed on rides and should be left with non-riders or stored within our cubbies located next to the ride. Personal items of any kind that interfere with safety harnesses must be removed prior to entering attractions. Luna Park in Coney Island and its employees are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items. Please report any items lost in the rides area to the ride operator or park employee. Luna Park in Coney Island management will make every effort to retrieve property lost by our guests after the ride completes the operation.

No Smoking:

Luna Park in Coney Island is a smoke-free facility. Absolutely no smoking is permitted within the parks or on rides and attractions.

Restricted:

Firearms, knives, razor blades, weapons or objects of any kind capable of causing harm are strictly forbidden. Bicycles, skateboards, scooters and rollerblades are not permitted on the premises. Restricted areas are off limits to park visitors. Guests attempting to enter restricted areas will be escorted from the park without refund.

Restrooms:

Luna Parkin Coney Island  restrooms are for paying guests only. Public restrooms are located on the Riegelmann Boardwalk. Please review our interactive map of Luna Park in Coney Island to identify restroom locations prior to your arrival.

Ride Height Requirements:

Luna Park in Coney Island provides a color-coded height stick located at every ride for guests unsure if they meet minimum height requirements. Height sticks helps individuals and parents of children quickly identify safety requirements established by the ride manufacturer.

Ride Restrictions:

Safety is Luna Park in Coney Island top priority. Due to the dimensions of restraint devices of rides, select attractions may not be safe for guests of certain heights, weights and body proportions.

First Aid Station:

Should you or a member of your party require medical assistance, our First Aid Station is located by the front entrance to Luna Park in Coney Island along Surf Ave. Medical personnel are on duty at all times during park operating hours. Ask any employee for assistance or directions.

Rider Responsibility:

There are inherent risks in the participation of any amusement ride. Please exercise sound judgment and act in a responsible manner while on Luna Park in Coney Island rides. Guests are required
to adhere to oral and written warnings and properly use all ride safety equipment provided. Those who do not comply with rules will be escorted from the park without refund. We ask that you refer to the specific guidelines posted at the entrance of each ride.

Law Compliance:

Luna Park in Coney Island is committed to providing a safe amusement park environment. In addition to our Code of Conduct, guests are required to follow all local, state and federal laws, rules
and on-site instructions.

While Luna Park in Coney Island is not responsible for lost and stolen personal items, we will do everything we can to help you recover your property. Those who choose to participate in any of the amusement rides and attractions in Luna Park in Coney Island accept any and all inherent risks. Restrictions for guests of certain heights, weights and body proportions are posted at applicable rides.

We urge everyone visiting Luna Park in Coney Island to participate responsibly and be
in adequate physical condition to ride safely. Know your limitations. If you suspect your health, or the health of a member of your party, could be at risk for any reason, or that riding could aggravate a pre-existing condition of any kind, DO NOT RIDE.
