Ride Supervisor

Position Summary:

Ride Supervisors will be responsible for ensuring that standard operating procedures are being followed. Ride Supervisors will train, coach, lead, and discipline his or her workforce. Ride Supervisors are also responsible for the guest experience.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

– Responsible for daily oversight of standard operating procedures
– Responsible for enforcing company guideline such as uniform, grooming, and attendance policies.
– Supervisors must maintain a smooth flow of communication with department management, supervisors, and ride operators
– Ensure that the company is compliant with all labor laws regarding minors
– Assist in evaluations, training, and motivating operators
– Supervise Ride Operators as they:
– Test equipment
– Enforce ride restrictions and safety procedures
– Assist guests with boarding and exiting the ride, particularly small children or guests with a disability
– Check safety restraints and ensure they are correctly secured before setting the ride in motion
– Maintain cleanliness of the ride and work areas
– Coordinate with Operations Management in handling employee issues and concerns
– Ensure that queue lines remain neat and orderly
– Ensure that load and unload times are efficient and up to standard
– Work hand in hand with numerous departments to ensure a smooth operation
– Review the work of operators, evaluates and makes recommendations, and offers advice and/or assistance (as needed)
– Work with management to create, revise, monitor, evaluate, and adjust the park’s efforts in achieving the critical success factors
– Monitor staff performance, facility cleanliness, and safety conditions
– Respond to customer service needs and takes corrective action, as necessary
– Perform employee audits and records disciplinary action as necessary
– Instruct new employees of park protocol and procedures
– Promote the concept of teamwork amongst all park staff
– Ensure a pleasant and safe work environment for all team members
– Provide overview off all day to day responsibilities relating to Ride Operations
– Responsible for opening and closing procedures of Luna Park relating to Ride Operations
– Collect and communicates all operational and technical issues to Management
– Handle first aid issues as they arise
– Other duties as assigned


– Must be at least 18 years old
– High School Diploma or equivalent industry experience required
– Must have understanding of how to read, write and speak English
– Must be able to work a varied of shifts, including holidays and weekends
– Must be outgoing, friendly, courteous, and honest
– Must have a working e-mail and phone number, CAI will provide an onsite computer to individuals without an active e-mail address
– Must have basic math skills
– Must be able to interact in a multicultural environment with a variety of ages
– Able to work in all weather conditions
– Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
– Ensure guests meet all ride policies and procedure
– Maintains daily logs and paperwork
– Bilingual candidates preferred
– Drug and background check may be required
– Must be able to operate computers and learn software programs
– Applicants must have experience in customer services and be comfortable leading a team of employees
– Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and leadership
– Effective analytical, problem identification; and resolution skills
