Retail Supervisor

Position Summary:

Games/Arcade and Retail Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the Games/ Arcade and Retail department and ensure that the department is running a safe, profitable, and smooth operation.

Duties as a Games/Arcade and Retail Supervisor will include:

– Responsible for enforcing company guidelines, including properly attired uniform, grooming, and attendance.
– Supervisors must maintain a smooth flow of communication with department management, supervisors and Games/Arcade and Retail operators.
– The main responsibilities include: ensuring that all game stands in the park are opened and closed at their scheduled times, supervising operators in performing their daily tasks and setting priorities, maintaining proper inventory levels of merchandise, and ensuring that we are complying with all labor laws for minors .
– Supervisors are in charge of placing and checking warehouse orders, as well as placing the items in the stands or stockrooms as necessary
– Will be required to monitor employees for proper cash handling, microphone usage where applicable, and displaying excellent guest service.
– Supervisors assist in evaluations of their operators, as well as training and positively motivating all of their employees.
– Supervisors will assist with the flashing of over 20 games on a weekly basis to make sure games look appealing and organized for the guests.
– Supervisors will also be responsible for theft prevention.
– Supervisors will interact with other departments to complete tasks or handle issues that arise.
– Supervisors may be responsible for completing weekly inventories.
– Works with management to create, revise, monitor, evaluate and adjust the parks efforts in achieving critical success factors
– Ensures a pleasant and safe work environment for all team members
– Handles first aid issues as they arise
– Supervisors handle any team member conflicts at the discretion of the Department Manager

Job Requirements:

– Must be at least 18 years old
– High School Diploma or equivalent industry experience
– Must have understanding of how to read, write and speak English
– Must be able to work a varied of shifts, including holidays and weekends
– Must be outgoing, friendly, courteous, and honest
– Must have a working e-mail and phone number, CAI will provide an onsite computer to individuals without an active e-mail address
– Must have Basic math skills
– Must be able to interact in a multicultural environment with a variety of ages
– Able to work in all weather conditions
– Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
– Ensure guests meet all ride policies and procedure
– Maintains daily logs and paperwork
– Bilingual candidates preferred
– Drug and background check may be required
– Must be able to operate computers and learn software programs
– Applicants must have experience in customer services and be comfortable leading a team of employees
– Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and leadership
– Must have effective analytical, problem identification, and resolution skills
