Park Services Supervisor

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

– Handle all day-to-day Park Services
– Handle all Facility tasks related to the department: plumbing, paints, general carpentry and small fix
– Program and/or execute opening, daily, closing, and night tasks, depending of the schedule
– Enforce the company guidelines such as
uniform, grooming and attendance policies
– Train, delegate and provide continue coaching to the staff
– Reviews the work of team members, and makes recommendations to the Manager
– Perform employee audits and record disciplinary actions and necessary
– Be ready to react in crowded/quite days to reinforce/reschedule/reduce staff
– Report immediately to the Manager if needs help to solve any situation
– Handle staffing: Schedule staff, place in their positions, control and keep track of changes
– Configure and handle the daily breaks schedule. Assure personal necessities
– Assure total safety to the guests and staff following procedures
– Ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all team members
– Communicate technical and facility issues that exceed his scope to the Facility Manager
– Ensure upkeep of entire property landscape
– Monitor and control supplies and program request orders to Logistics
– Delivery cleaning supplies and water coolers to all positions, and radios to their team members
– Control devolution of supplies, radios and jackets, and remove water coolers at the end of the day
– Help to handle customer service issues as they arise
– Be aware and proceed to any park service emergencies
– Assist and report to the Manager

Requirements:

– High School diploma
– Two (2) years of experience working (Amusement park experience is a plus)
– Must be able to lift 50 LBS or more
– Comfortable with a computer and Microsoft Office
– Plumbing experience
– Painting experience
– Machinery maintenance/upkeep
– Must be able to interact with many different people and a variety of age ranges
– Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, presentation skills and leadership
– Effective analytical, problem identification, and resolution skills
– Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays (50+ hours per week in season)
– Able to multitask and maintain composure in pressure situations

Physical Demands:


– Requires standing for long periods of time, ability to walk long distances within the park and exposure to variable outside temperatures, including high heat.
