Food Logistics Manager

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

– Knowledgeable of the products that the company produces and the particular storage and
shipping requirements of each
– Manage a team of logistic staff to plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to
fulfill receiving orders, meet inventory requirements, and product transfers in a timely
fashion
– Designs and implements warehouse organizational layout plans
– Responsible for overall facility maintenance
– Ensures that all assigned personnel are well trained and efficient in their job assignments
and tasks
– Ensures that all site locations are loaded / unloaded in an efficient, accurate and timely
manner
– Rotates stock as required
– Communicates regularly with the Management team to ensure a free flow of information
and a close coordination of effort
– Responsible for taking physical inventory counts as required in an accurate and timely
manner
– Ensures that all required record keeping is completed in an accurate manner, and that it is
forwarded to the appropriate administrative or accounting office
– Ensures that proper temperatures are maintained in those storage areas where temperature
control is mandated
– Performs general computer operations, utilizing company software for receiving materials,
creating transfers and inventory documentation
– Creation of daily work logs and detailed reports in Excel and Inventory Software, and
transmission of same to corporate
– Other duties as assigned
– Follow all company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

– Knowledgeable use of handheld barcode scanner a plus
– Must be at least 18 years old
– Able to work in all weather conditions
– Able to speak fluent English
– Able to read and write English
– Basic math skills
– Credit &Criminal Background Checks required
– Must have valid Driver’s License
– Ability to exercise up to 50 pounds of strength frequently to lift, carry, push or move objects
and be able to operate a forklift vehicle and other related bulk moving equipment
– Must have the stamina to work 40 to 50 hours per week.
– Must be able to work a varied of shifts, including holidays and weekends
– Must be outgoing, friendly, courteous, and honest
– Must have a working email and phone number. CAI will provide an onsite computer if
needed
– Basic math skills required
– Must be able to interact in a multicultural environment with a variety of ages
– Able to work in all weather conditions
– Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
– Ensure guests meet all ride policies and procedure
– Maintains daily logs and paperwork
– Bilingual candidates preferred
– Drug and background check may be required
– Must be able to operate computers and learn software programs
